An interesting coffee heritage, this Single Origin from Indonesia is the world famous Manhelding variety from Sumatra. However this Tesco Finest range branded produce doesn’t carry over the bold character that it should posess. There is a dark intensity but little else .

My Take – Personally I found the berry and cocoa to be almost buried in the heavy roast and I think this product might’ve benefited from being presented in a much lighter roast. A light to medium roasting process would bring out the sweeter aspects of Sumatra’s famed Manhelding Coffee.
